Summer Food Service
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) provides free healthy meals and snacks to economically disadvantaged children during the summer months. The Main Idea partners with the SFSP to provide nutritious meals to qualified campers and junior staff during our camp session regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability.
To qualify for the SFSP, children have to meet the qualifications to participate in the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program and/or their families must receive TANF and/or food stamps.
This summer’s camp dates are from August 17 to August 30, 2014.
