Lindsey Ehrenwerth, Philadelphia Pa.

A former Waldenite, Lindsey graduated with a major in sociology from Hobart and William Smith College. She spent several years working for various non-profits in New York City and just recently earned her Master's Degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania. The past five summers she served as Assistant Director of the Main Idea and is honored at being appointed the new Director.

Sarah Stern, Westchester County, NY
A graduate of Yale College and Harvard Business School and mother of three, Sarah is the Business Director of Commentary, Inc., a not-for-profit publisher. Her six year term on the Board of Education of the Edgemont School District in Westchester County included two as president. Sarah was also a junior counselor at The Main Idea for two years.

Alice Tenney, Mamaroneck, NY

A graduate of both Camp Walden and Tufts University, Alice has worked in marketing and sales for 19 years. She has since served on numerous PTA boards and committees and has been involved with student scholarships, mental health and special education in her community. She expects to earn a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Manhattanville College in July 2008.
Brenda Cotsen, New York, NY
Earned her B.A. from Smith College and MBA from Columbia School of Business. She was a Director in the Citigroup Fixed Income Division from 1988 to 2004. Her primary responsibility was financing non-investment grade borrowers as they repositioned their operations. Although retired in 2004 to care for her three childern,she still serves on the board of The League for the Hard of Hearing.
Jan Weil, New York, NY
Married to Amos Avgar, who is a constant source of energy and joy, believes her years at Walden, with her sister Laurie, contributed meaningfully to her life's interests. Her work with internally displaced people during the Bosnian War, was an eye opening learning experience, which led to a five year term on the board of Refugees International. Her child psychotherapist skills were invaluable in working with the Child Development Center of the Jewish Board of Family and Children Services in the aftermath of 911.

Jill Zeikel, Watertown, MA

With a BS from St. Lawrence University, an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School and a MEd from Cambridge College, Jill was aptly prepared for her marketing directorship in various technology companies. She is currently a High School mathematics teacher and girls varsity tennis coach in Watertown, MA.
