former Waldenite, Lindsey graduated with a major in sociology
from Hobart and William Smith College. She spent several
years working for various non-profits in New York City
and just recently earned her Master's Degree in social
work from the University of Pennsylvania. The past five
summers she served as Assistant Director of the Main Idea
and is honored at being appointed the new Director.

been involved with student scholarships, mental health and
special education in her community. She expects to earn
a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Manhattanville

her B.A. from Smith College and MBA from Columbia School
of Business. She was a Director in the Citigroup Fixed Income
Division from 1988 to 2004. Her primary responsibility was
financing non-investment grade borrowers as they repositioned
their operations. Although retired in 2004 to care for her
three childern,she still serves on the board of The League
for the Hard of Hearing. |

to Amos Avgar, who is a constant source of energy and joy,
believes her years at Walden, with her sister Laurie, contributed
meaningfully to her life's interests. Her work with internally
displaced people during the Bosnian War, was an eye opening
learning experience, which led to a five year term on the
board of Refugees International. Her child psychotherapist
skills were invaluable in working with the Child Development
Center of the Jewish Board of Family and Children Services
in the aftermath of 911. |

aptly prepared for her marketing directorship in various
technology companies. She is currently a High School mathematics
teacher and girls varsity tennis coach in Watertown, MA. |
