General Information
Facilities
The closeness, friendships
and bonds that develop among campers of different age groups,
counselors and staff are all ingredients in The Main Idea's
special mix of warmth and spirit. Although the girls are only together for ten day, many of the friendships formed continue to grow long after their magical summer experience has ended.

As
the Main Idea uses the same facilities as Camp Walden, it too
benefits from Walden's naturally protected and secure location.
All
the main buildings, camper and staff sleeping quarters and central
activity points are located in the middle of this acreage, affording
us an exclusive, comfortable and easily supervised area.
The
campers live in well built, naturally ventilated, roomy wooden
bunks, each with its own bathroom and washrooms. Counselors,
CA's and JC's are each assigned a bunk and share in all bunk
responsibilities with the campers.
